Periodontal soft tissue reconstruction workshop

Azerbaijani Society of Periodontology with the support of Geistlich Azerbaijan (Adentta) held a workshop on "Periodontal soft tissue reconstruction" by Dr. Cavid Ahmedbeyli on 22.02.2020 in Park Inn Hotel Baku.

Detailed information on periodontal soft tissue deficiencies, diagnosis and classification of gingival recessions, conservative and surgical management of recession type defects, reconstruction methods and soft tissue biomaterials was given to the participants. 

During the workshop, the dentists improved their practical skills on pig jaws by applying suturing techniques, coronally advancement flap and Fibrogide (Geistlich) soft tissue biomaterial at recession type defects.
